Bernard M. Perry

Bernard M. Perry, age 71, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2026, at Kent County Hospital.

Born on April 6, 1954, in Washington, DC, Bernard was the son of the late Roosevelt "Dick" Perry and Esther Spivey.

He was also preceded in death by his stepmother, Hanah Lou Mason, and his brother Leroy Peewee" Perry.

Bernard leaves behind a loving family who will cherish his memory: his former wife, Sara J Dennis-Perry; his sons Bernard (Keisha) Mack, Michael Mack and their mother Sheila Mack of

Georgia, his daughter Tyla Perry of Illinois, and his stepson, Ra'Shaun Nalls of Massachusetts.

He is also survived by his siblings, Chris "Butch" Perry of Washington, DC Robert Earl Perry of North Carolina, Vanessa Perry of Connecticut, and Lois Allen of North Carolina, along with ten grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Bernard dedicated more than 47 years of his life to his craft as a glazier, taking pride in his work and the relationships he built along the way. He was also a respected Past Grand Master of King Solomon Lodge in Rhode Island, where he demonstrated leadership, service, and commitment to his community.

A Memorial Service will be held on March 4th at 12:00 Noon at Darlington Mortuary, 1042 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket, RI.
